Your first tox appointment should feel considered, not intimidating. The best starting point is a clear conversation about your face in motion, the lines you notice, and what “still me” means to you.
Start with the consultation
We talk through your goals, medical history, medications, previous treatments, and any questions you have. Your clinician will assess the relevant muscles at rest and in motion, then explain what is and is not realistic.
During treatment
The treatment itself is usually quick. Your clinician will guide you through the plan, consent, and aftercare. There is no prize for being brave—ask every question you need.
Afterwards
You may have small temporary marks, redness, or tenderness at injection sites. Follow the individual aftercare advice you are given and contact the practice if something feels unusual.
The review
The result develops over time, not in the treatment chair. Give it the review window your clinician recommends before deciding how it feels. Subtle is often the point.
